Selection
Hold down the Shift button and use the arrow keys, Page Up and Page Down, Home and End, to select a number of bytes. Or press the left mouse button and drag the mouse.
Press F2 to view the File Info of the File Menu. There you find where the selection starts and ends, and what the size of the selection is.
The following menu options apply to the selection. If nothing is selected in particular, they apply to the byte at the cursor position.

- Cut (Bytes to Paste)
- Copy (Bytes to Paste)
- Delete
- Extra menu
- Adapted Text to Clipboard
- Decimal Numbers to Clipboard
- Hexadecimal Numbers to Clipboard
- Binary Numbers to Clipboard
- Data Types to Clipboard
The following menu options can apply to the selection when you checked the corresponding box in the Search window or Replace window. If nothing is selected in particular, they apply to the file as a whole.
You can select bytes in the Text View, Decimal View or Hexadecimal View. Selecting in one view, will create the same selection in the other views.
Press Del to delete the bytes of the selection. When the file size is protected in the
Options menu, bytes are not deleted, but obtain the value of the
fill character. You can specify the fill character in the Options menu.
